The Ceremony of the Return of the Bell to Třebom on October 12, 2024.

On September 5th, an event called "Heroes Among Us" took place in our parish, during which we were visited by firefighters, paramedics, a police officer, and a military chaplain. We had the opportunity to view their vehicles and equipment, learn more about their demanding work, and hear interesting experiences.

Lysá hora/Praděd – Approximately three hundred people hiked to Lysá hora and Praděd on the last holiday Monday to pray for the country and society in which they live. The highest peaks of the Beskydy and Jeseníky mountains became places of prayer for their homeland. The Ostrava-Opava diocese thus concluded its celebrations of 30 years since its founding. On August 31, 1996, the first diocesan bishop, František Václav Lobkowicz, was appointed.

On Saturday, June 13th, we traveled by bus to Olomouc, where we were scheduled to visit the Archbishop's Seminary. Upon arrival, we celebrated Mass, which was officiated by Father Lukas Jambor, rector of the Olomouc seminary.

V neděli 24. června 2026 se na faře v Sudicích při příležitosti slavnosti Seslání Ducha Svatého uskutečnila farní akce s názvem „Svatodušní odpoledne aneb Farní smaženice“.

V sobotu 23.5. 2026, v předvečer slavnosti Seslání Ducha svatého jsme jako společenství prožili modlitební vigilii, při které jsme rozjímali nad dary Ducha svatého a nad jeho působením v našem každodenním životě. V modlitbě jsme děkovali za jeho vedení a prosili o otevřené srdce, aby mohl vstupovat do všech situací, které prožíváme.

Minulou neděli 15. března se v Kozmicích uskutečnila farní křížová cesta smíření v přírodě. Byla to příležitost zastavit se, ztišit se a zamyslet se nad svým životem a vztahy s druhými.

V úterý 23.12. v parku na Náměstí v Sudích proběhlo předávání Betlémského světla. Lidé si domů odnesli symbol míru, naděje a vánoční pohody. 

Modlitba za obnovu rodin a duchovní povolání propojila několik stovek poutníků, kteří připutovali v sobotu 4.října do konkatedrály Panny Marie v Opavě 

For everyone who wants to deepen their service in the parish, a new course titled Creating a Parish is available. It consists of six Saturday seminars that the bishopric prepares in collaboration with the Cyril and Methodius Theological Faculty of Palacký University in Olomouc.

On Tuesday morning, July 1st, groups of children and adults gradually arrived at the Kamenité site in Vyšní Lhoty, filling it up and creating a sense of anticipation in the air. The meeting of children and families with the bishop was just beginning at Prašivá. The joyful atmosphere was significantly enhanced by the sunshine, greetings from friends and acquaintances, and also the first song performed by the choir from Opava, "Who is the Lord of the Jungle." It got many of the thousands present dancing with the help of the moderators and sent them a message, "who is my Lord."
